Just a quick one. I put a set of Rush Slip-ons (with 2" baffles) on my nightster about 2 hours ago. Awesome real Harley sound. Crack the throttle and wow! Idle....and Gu gu gu gu. On the highway nice rumble easy on the ears.
Bottom line, if you want to make noise twist the right hand grip, if you want sneak just leave it where it is......
HEY MAN...I feel for ya...no replies to your post...picked up a 2008 1200R last nite and am going with the rushes.......how did you decide on baffle size as they make all diff sizes to choose from??????????????????.......BINNY

The coolest thing about Rush's is that get loudwhen you want them to, and at idle they just sound low and sweet.I decided on the 2" baffles as you can change them out in less than 5 minutes at a cost of about 30 bucks. You can get baffles all the way up to 2-1/2" I believe, the bigger the baffle the louder the sound.
I have the 2" Rush pipes on my 883. I thought my wife's 1200 was loud when the 883 was stock. Even my wife agrees that my pipes are louder and she loves the sound. The 1200 must sound even better than the 883 does. Love that deep pah-dump at idle.
