It was such a nioce day the other day that I decided to go for a little ride. The sun was up, and there wasnt a cloud in the sky. It was truly a beautiful day. So I am about to pull into my driveway when I notice the in-laws are visiting. I then think to myself that in the 4 years that I have been riding, I have never had my wife on the back of my bike. That was mainly because I wouldnt put her on the back when I first learned how to ride, then we had a baby (who is now almost 3), and now we have another 11 week old. So she never got to ride with me. I pull in and tell my wife to hop on and let her parents watch the kids. It was so much fun just tooling around the neighborhood with my boss...err....wife on the bike. Now, if only there were more people to watch our kids so we could go away for the wekeend on the bike!!!
Way to go! The days will come when the two of you can enjoy the pleasures of a trip, weekend trips, and longer if you desire. The kids are paramount for both of you now, they need you, and you need them in your lives - and you won't believe how fast they grow up and are gone - but your day will come for motorcycling with your wife. Enjoy the kids while they're young, a bike can always be available
TommyF, that's what grandparents are for, watch the kids while you and your ladygo riding, unless you are the grandparent and watching the little angels cutsyour riding time to the point where you start wondering when they'llget back so you can go.

IAM a grandfather and I'm babbysitting my 3-year old granddaughter at the moment - BUT, that's because it's too cold outside for a comfortable ride - LOL!!
My mom has used babysitting my son as an excuse to get out of riding with my dad. that is a rare occasion though.
We usually just make Amber's mom babysit. Pssh she can't ride withouth her husbands permission anyways and he never wants to go anywhere. To him a ride is a 15mile doodle around town.
