What apes should I get
Hey guys,
I just bought a 2008 Nightster and I want to put a set of apes on it, I am thinking I want to put on a set of 16" bars, but I may think I need a set of 14 or 12" bars. I'm 5'11" tall and am also putting on a set of 5" extended forward controls. What do you guys think?

Personally I am only 5'9" and I have 16" "Gimps" onmy sporty, with forward controls, and I do not feel to stretched out. My shoulders get a little more tired than they used to on long trips, but I think you will be just fine even with the extended forward controls. I got my bars from Nash Motorcycles, and they can do all sorts of different coatings from powdercoated black, to copper. These gimps are sweet, and I think they will stay in line with the Nightsters bobber look.
