Been a while since I've had a chance to enjoy this site...
Has anyone had success doing a conversion from 1200 to 1400 cc?
I'm looking to start pricing out the components.
NRHS has a 1430 kit, makes an 88 inch.motor. http://www.nrhsperformance.com/ There are several members of another forum running these with great success. Great power and torque from these monsters.

That kit looks like the clear deal. Is it just pistons and cylinder heads or do you change the carburetor and other components as well? I don't know shiite about the internals.

It entails pistons, rings, etc. along with either boring out your cylinders or getting new ones. And for the big bore (88") it also entails boring out your engine cases (an additional $275 if I remember right)... With that big engine, going to a 44 carb like a Mikuni (vs. the stock Keihin CV42) may make sense, although it's not part of the kit. Check out their site more closely (www.nrhsperformance.com) and even call - they're super helpful in explaining and making recommendations...
Good luck!
Thanks for the link...They claim that the work can be performed without removing the engine. I would think the cases would have to be bored but maybe not with this kit
