Thoughts on spacing out? Used to have lots of 'em, but I, uh, ............, oh yeah, I forgot 'em.
Front end looks pretty good on there.
Spacing - Center the hub between the forks. Measure the distance from the inside surface of the right (non-brake side) fork leg where the axle penetrates to the wheel bearing spacer. That's your centering spacer distance. Make up a spacer, but be dang sure the thing is square on the ends. That means don't hacksaw it! If it aint square you're gonna put the bearing in a bind, and bad things can happen. The brake side centering spacer is done up the same way. It is usually the same length as the off-side, but measure to be sure.
Will you need to space the rotor out to center it in the caliper?
Here are some front photos. The new axle is turned down, and appears to not need a spacer at the right hand side of the wheel. Is this possible? On the brake side, everything looks good. Caliper lines up perfect. Any thoughts?
