Seems to me the moco is trying to drive up the price point on their bikes. After flooding the market with bikes over the last few years, they are now cutting back production at the plants. If they can't continue to sell the volume of units they have been pumping out, then they gotta rise the price point. I bought my 2006 883L for $6,250. They can only do that if they are selling a LOT of bikes.
