Default How hard to change to longer cables?

My brother in law has an 04 883C. He has bought a new set of handlebars for it and the bars came with longer cables, indicating they would need to be changed.
How hard is it to change the cables. The dealer wants 300 dollars for all of it.
Is this something we should be able to do pretty easily?

Thanks

Tom

Pretty easy. I do recommend getting the service manual. Especially for the clutch cable. Not hard but nice to have something to refer to.

Not hard but time consuming. You got to get the shop manual.

Is that 300 or without the cables?

I would spend the 60 or so on the service manual and do it myself. That is actually what I did. Probably saved me 200 bucks.
