Engine Guard Covers
Thanks in advance
I'm bringing plenty of cash this year for turkey legs and junk parts.
Wait for Laconia I seen em there last year on an engine guard for sale but I would think that they would sell just the cover not the whole package. I seen em in one of those tent sales, you know what I'm talking about. There like carnie sales people who return each year and still manage to have the same stuff

Chil is a forum member. I have his leather lowers on my Low Rider and they are top quality gear. On the sig pic.
Otherwise, go to the dealer and get her a set of gators for about $50.00

Marine vinyl. $89. Sage Brush is the brand name. I like 'em. But you're gonna have to watch the area between the front pipe and the engine guards. After having these on all winter, there's a melt mark on the chaps in that area. No, it did NOT melt to the pipe, and it didn't melt through. But let's face it, Leather handles heat better than vinyl, and Chilhowee's engine guard chaps are bull hide, and only $50 more. But the marine vinyl is lighter, and it has quick detach buckles. You just have to make sure to either tie off the excess nylon strap length or do a "cut and burn" fix, i.e. cut the excess strap length and burn the ends to prevent fraying. I tie mine off.
It's not a magical fix, but it does help. Ya know, the gaitors might not be such a bad idea, either! Combined with theengine guard chaps, the gaitors will definitely help, too. If you don't want to go to the dealer for them, reputable outdoor stores have them. I know REI carries them.

Here's where I got mine. Good people to deal with in my experience. YMMV.
