I like the way my new little HD windshield collects bugs but I do get a bit of buffeting. When I let go of the handle bars at about 30mph it wobbles. So I might take it off when the bugs slow down.

Yeah they work great for the bugs, and they do help for fatigue as well. I bought mine for a long road trip I'm going on but since putting it on I haven't taken it off.

I have a Memphis Fat detachable - 15" on my 1200N. \\; No buffeting. WHen I had my 883 I had an HD "sport shield". \\; AWFUL !!! Lots of buffeting. I thought something was wrong with my bike at one point. \\; With THAT shield I found the air was coming from underneath.

Also - ditto on the visor. \\; I wore one a couple times till I figured out THAT was causing major problems.
