I rode the wife's sporty tonight (I'm busted) and after my event I came out and started it and was letting it warm up while I was talking to someone. \\; Suddenly it died and lost all power. \\; The lights went out and everything. \\; Glad I know a bit about this bike. \\; Pulled off the side cover and jiggled the positive battery cable a couple of times and all power returned. \\; Needless to say all cables will be tightened before this bike goes anywhere else. \\; I guess it's the shaking of the motor that loosens all this stuff as I check my fatboy when I service it but have never had this happen.  \\;
along with checking the battery cables, make sure the connection on the voltage regulator is secure. \\;\\\\\\; if your voltage regulator comes loose it can drain the battery, so once it dies and you check the battery cables the battery might not have enough juice to get started again. (Ask me how I know) [sm=headbang.gif]
