I rode my bike two weeks ago, parked it , but didn't put the tender on.
Went to ride yesterday, turn the key &\\; tick tick tick. No power to turn it over.
Now, I do have the immobilizer thing, is two weeks sitting idle long enough to drain the battery?
Bit concerned my battery may be a dud.
I did let it sit on the tender for about 3 hours, it turned over &\\; away I went.
Stopped for gas &\\; it was started up.
I have an 08, so the battery should only be less than a year old.

Not sure what year they started throwing that security system on the sporty, but it seems that wears down the battery for a lot of people.....I think one person on here said his would be dead after a week. \\; Could be wrong.....[&:]
SpursDarkRider is right - I had the security system activated on my bike, and killed the battery in a week.
I had no idea the system would drain the battery that much in a week.
The .75amp tender didn't charge the battery full, so I picked up the 1.5A charger/tender.
Try tightening your battery cables. \\; This can make all the difference in the world. \\; I have the security system and the sound module and it still works after a week or two fine. \\; Tighten the cables and then get back to us.

+1 \\;
 \\; \\; I had a similar problem on my Heritage, \\;if the - battery cable was not clean and really tight
I'd get the same \\;thing.
