My bars rotate in the clamp and I think it's beacause not enough of the knurling is inside the clamp. \\;\\\\\\; Need to find measurement so I can get bars with knurling that matches. There is only about 1/2" of the knurling at most inside each side of the clamp. \\; I don't think there's enough for the clamp to get a good grip.
Here's a question on the same lines... I want to replace my stock handlebars with new chrome ones from J&\\;P. \\; They list Lo Rise, Custom Low, Custom Medium... what would be the closest to the stock bars I have now?
Chefe,

Remove bars.......clamp bars in vise......take sharp center punch and dimple bars in area you need....the center punch makes dimple, but also raises metal around dimple hole......make plenty of dimples......then make certain riser clamps don't actually touch once bars are clamped....it they do, then file/grind mating surface away till there is slight gape in riser clamps.
I am not seeing any gap between the top clamp and the risers \\; \\; Is it possible that the top clamp got warped when the bars were put on and now wont grip the bars right
