Just bought a 1200 Nightster on Saturday and I have been looking up pipes all day... I was wondering if anyone can point me in a direction, there are so many out there... New Hampshire law says the decibel level can not go over 160. Any help would be great thank you... Live Free or Die.
Can't comment on decibel levels, as Washington State doesn't seem to hassle anyone on that score, but I know I LOVE my Rush Slip Ons. \\;\\\\\\; Not too loud, and nice deep throaty Harley sound. \\;\\\\\\;
BTW the pipes in my signature are the stock pipes, the signature was done before the chance to the Rush mufflers.
I think the Vance &\\; Hines Short Shots, and the Rhinehart slip ons both sound pretty nice. \\; If you're concerned about the legal side of it, go with the Screaming Eagle slip ons since they're 50 state legal. \\; They aren't too loud, but sound a lot better than stock.
Thanks Rob i for the update on the law... I was told it was 106 by a police officer yesterday, now I looked up the RSA and printed one off for myself and will keep it with me while I ride. Thanks again.
