just bought the 883 from a guy that went blind, he had the 5K service done last june. I thought it ran a little too rough and it made a jingling noise.
Took it to dealer ( same one that did the service) they said primary too tight (only 500 miles since service) they said needs a new chain and clutch bearings 500,00, so \\;I declined. They adjusted the chain and it runs great now waddayathink????? \\; should I worry?????
i think u saved yourself 500 bucks i run a belt on mine but if it feels good and looks good run it oh and untill they get the bugs out of the forum dont use puncuation in your posts it screws it up
thanks for the tip \\; I think the mechanic \\;was just trying to make more money on the job I thought that since they did it they should fix it but they said it was past the 90 day warranty bike sounds ok to me and runs smoother
