Nice bike. That's how I want mine to look with the front end and bars.
Are those HD bars #56563-95 ?
I read somewhere that with these bars you only have to change the brake line. Yes??
Do you notice if \\;your bike is a little unstable on the kickstand due to the front raised?
Ken @ AME suggested the 6" tubes because of this.
I want at least the 8 or 10" tubes.
Do you remember the socket and wrench sizes that you used for the installation?
Thanks charlie.

I actually wanted to go with the 18 deg 10" tubes but Ken @ AME said that this would not work on the XL custom. The speedo would hit the tank because of the fork angle. In order to use the 18 deg rake you would need to either change out the tank or relocate the speedo. He has his used XLC for sale on the AME site. He changed out the tank.

What did you guys use to remove the races?
I have read some have used a screwdriver or \\;a dremel tool or \\;an angled prybar.
Someone wrote that the race removal tool did not work.
Any tips or tool sizes would be appreciated.

I used a 12 inch punch but I had to bend and grind on it a little to knock out the races and you have to have a lot of patients...
Make sure you have an extra pair of hands around. I did mine all by myself and it can be a bitch lining everything up and getting it in place that way.
I don't remember the socket size its out in the shed I think it cost me six or seven bucks though. I'll try to remember to go out there and check but its in the instructions if I'm not mistaken.
The bike leans over a little more on the kickstand than it use to but have had no problems in that regard.
