Default RE: Nightster Mini Ape Install Question.

I went with Stock +4 cables from Dealer who had to get them made for me took 3 weeks and $300 and they are a bit long. I have about an inch of play in my throttle now. The one problem I do have is My wirring with 10" apes on is streched to the max. I took the Healight off and unjumbled as much of the wiring as I could. Any solutions you guys have other than replacing entire harness?

When I first put my apes on and had 2" risers I just re routed the clutch and throttle/idle cables and bent my brake line to fit like the others. It worked fine for months until I finally just ordered all new cables.

Faultezero... just solder in 6" extensions (which is what I did) to your harness or get a plug-n-play ext. kit from JP Cycles, Dennis Kirk or on Ebay. Novello is the company that usually makes them and oyu can order direct from them. You can also buy just the pin/socket connetors and some wire and do it that way but soldering is cheapest way or the kit is the&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;quickest way.

Installed the Tall boys on my 48, brake line was all I needed.
