ok let me start from day one. i got the pipes and put them on the bike,went for a ride and after about an hour i started to hear a nasty vibration so i came home and found that the baffle in the rear pipe was loose,i tryed to loosen the allen bolt holding it in and it snapped,not a big deal i drilled it out and trough bolted it..next problem was about a month later when i was cleaning my bike i noticed the heat shield was cracked right before the muffler body,i figured oh well i can live with this because it is really not all that noticeable..just the other day i went for a ride and started hearing a vibrating noise again..not as bad as the loose baffle but still irritating.come too find out the little tab that is spot welded on the inside of the heat shield that the hose clam llops through broke off..now i have a problem with this because if i weld it the chrome is gonna burn off..so i came home from work yesterday and got ahold of holley(the manufacturer of hooker headers) and talked to tech support,explained all the problems ive had with the rear pipe and he told me to take pictures of the crack and i agreed,but i cant take pictures of the spot weld thig because its behind the heat shield and i told him im not taking the pipe back off till they send me a new pipe, so i took the pic of the crack and scanned my reciept from jp cycles and emailed him..i called to confirm the email and he said they would get back to me and let me know if they are going to warranty it..i hope they do because i paid 450 bucks back in febuary and dont think i should have all these problems with the one pipe..its obvious that its a defect and should be replaced by them..so anyway if they dont replace it ill let all of you know who have any intentions on bying the trouble makers what you could be in for..im starting to wish i had just went with the vace &\\;\\\\\\; hines side shots..this fixing **** is starting to get old..new clutch a few weeks ago and new tire last week(my own fault due to burnouts) but the pipe is not my fault...
A friend of mine had troublemakers.... He hated them. \\; They sound awesome but the baffles were ALWAYS rattling after a long ride... He was constantly dicking with them. \\; He's got shortshots now.

i only had the one baffle problem but i resolved that..now im hoping the company does the right thing..ive heard other members here complain about the baffles but i really didnt have to much concern about that..its the heat shield thing that is pissing me off..
why when i post a thread about "troublemaker ?" concerning problems do i get no responses? im glad you posted this, but sorry for your problems. keep posted.

Sorry for your problems Ace. I think Dbleagle had a similar problem with his if I'm not mistaken.
 \\;\\\\\\;
Yeah you are right Pig... not only that... I bought another set a couple of months ago... had the same baffle problem had a top clamp brake on the front pipe twice the second time it cam around a scratched the hell out of the chrome! \\;\\\\\\; So now I'm down $900 dollars to Holley and running V and H short shots... TroubleMakers is a cuss word in my book...[:@]
 \\;
Oh and the first time I sent \\;Holley detailed pics and never he a word from them... go figure...
 \\;I had to explain to mustang seats, that I frequent a harley BB called HDforums with thousands of their potential customers. And that I would spread the word of their poor customer service.
 \\;
 \\;It was amazing how their opinions changed, as did \\;their service!

Good luck!
