This is my first post, hello everyone, and first posts are usually introductions but after seeing this bike I had to sign up and comment on how gorgeous the bike is!
I plan on getting a nighster in the spring, everything is in place with the exception of winter being on it's way , and after I get it I'll probably send you a few messages packed with questions, hope you don't mind. In the meantime I'll just have to save your pictures so I have something to keep me drooling through the winter.
I don't like the look of drags with tall or pull back risers at all (IMO). That is why I went with the apes.
After having the new bars for about a week I wish I would have went with them in the first place, they feel great.
Thanks Tweakin, right when I have my mind made up someone has to go and make me rethink things. I guess I am lucky in the fact that I am still waiting and haven't made a leap yet.
how are slow speeds with apes? is the steering difficult? such as parking lot maneuvering, etc.?
They're not bad if you don't go with higher than 12". In really tight spaces and when you're creepin it can get a bit awkward sometimes, but nothing that really warrants a concern for safety.
Nice I love my apes I did not put risers on mine. What are the length on those 412's? Where did you get that derby cover from? I have never seen those before.
