Default So what do you do.

This is not another saddle bag thread but rather i bought my bike with them already on and want to take them off unless i need them. I like to keep my regi/insurance on the bike because my wallet can be prone to falling in water at work. So any good tricks for keeping it on the bike with no bags and still accessible.

I have my reg/insurance tucked behind a pad in my helmet... can't ride without it.

I've seen little tubes with screw tops at swap meets for holding stuff like that. They just bolt on somewhere.

I think somebody here once said they put a packing slip holder under their seat. That might work!?

A tool bag or a stash tube will work. Maybe a chain for your wallet might help too.

Stash tubes are pricy unless you find one like Shumacher said at a swap meet, I'd recommend the easy off screw from harley that allows you to remove the seat with out a screwdriver and then stash it under there in a bag. The screw which cost 2 pennies to make cost 15 bucks but I didn't realize that till I got home and looked at the receipt.

How can a person not need saddle bags all the time? I would go insane without mine.

in this thread, the guy uses a lil case as a license plate holder. i thought this was a great idea and would solve ur problem quite nicely.
