The Week from Hell
Last Sat I woke to a fluded basement. I had the only water line that had not been replaced yet burst. So after spending Sat doing pluming and cleaning up the mess I decided to go for a ride on Sun. After about a half hour I notice a wierd noise and the shifting dosn't feel right. Get it home and do some checking and discover the bearing clutch ramp has failed. No big deal $10.00 for parts and a shot afternoon, and oh yeah my team lost on top of every thing else. The clincher was Fri afternoon, I use my bike to do about 90% of my service calls and had one about an hour north of wear I live. When I'm leaving the customers house the bike won't start, dead battery, which is strange because I replaced it 2 weeks ago. Well I push start the bike and start home, about 5 miles down the road my tach quits then a couple of miles later the speedo dies, and last but not least the engine quits. It took almost 3 hours for a tow to show up. Tested the electrical system this weekend and it looks like the voltage regulator. Talk about a crappy week.
