Default Hidden Wires

I just modded the wifes new Sporty with a mod I did on my Bob. I hid the wires in the bars to clean it up a little. Its a completely free Mod. I posted in the under $50 section on the Dyna board, but figured I'd do it here too if anyone is interested. The first thing is to get the bars off of the bike. You will see some indentions under the throttle cables and clutch lever area. You will cut in this area for the wires to enter the bars.

Then you have to cut under the center of the bars, in the middle of the clamp. Its best to mark this area with a marker when the bars are still on the bike.

Now, when the wires come out, they come straight out of the bottom of the clamp

The last picture is off my Bob, but you get the idea. You have to loosen the tank bolts to move it a little, but dont have to remove it. When you unplug the connectors on the harness, you can take the wires out of the plugs then put them together again, that way you avoid cutting/splicing/soldering. I'll be happy to answer any questions if anyone is interested. I can post some pics of her Sporty tomorrow, so you can see the finished product.
