I would go check out this site, I have checked into a lot of bars and this set seem to be the best.

1200/883L bars: 6" rise, 10" pullback and 28" wide
Dyna Low bars: 5" rise, 9" pullback and 31" wide

I havs had both of these bars and prefer the hand placement of the Dyna Low bars. I installed the set of Dyna Low bars on my '05 1200C to gain more pullback because I am short and riding with the stock bars caused my back to hurt. I then got greedy and wanted the extra inch of pullback so I installed a set of 1200/883L bars. Wish I still had the Dyna Low bars.
Two questions for you,

1) Are the Nightster bars the same as the Dyna bars you mentioned, (besides being black)

2) Will the Nightster handlebar fit on my 05 883L without cable change?

Danke!

I had the headlight visor powdercoated to a satin black and want the black of the Nightster bar also,

Kanzig. Said the part number for the Dyna LR bars is 56085-83T, if that is right, then the pull back is only 5.75" that is about the same as stock 04 and up XL C bars...

ButtMan 1000,

I don't know the deminisions of the Nightster bars. Sorry. You may be able to look them up on the HD site.

Ok,

At first glance they appear to me to be about the same dimensions as the Dyna bars,

GPHDXLC,

I would say you are correct. Pullback on the bars I installed feel to be the same pullback, maybe ever so slightly more. They feel better though due to the wideness and the fact they are slightly higher than stock.

Buttman1000,

I would guess the nightster stock handlebars are 56085-83A which is the black version of the low rider bars. I sat on a nightster at the dealer a couple times, that seems right but I am not 100% sure on that.
