Default Winter storage?
I did all the usual stuff, sta-bil, tender, etc. Do you guys put it up on the jiffy stand for the winter or just use the kick stand? I did take my seat off and put it in the house due to the mice, but they have plenty of green stuff in the garage (mice killer) to eat.

Sorry Charley. I meant a m/c stand that you can get from Sears or Pep Boys.

It's not really a big deal, you just don't want to leave the tires sitting for months on a bare concrete floor, it can lead to tire dry rot, but only during long term storage. For longer term storage, you can jack the bike up or put some scrap pieces of plywood or carpet under the tires.

there was a post on here the other day about the same subject. hit the search function. there were alot of lame brain ideas on the subject and a couple of good ones. pick through the bs and decide what is best for you.

Here's the thread on long term storage suggestions. Yea, pick and choose what's right for your situation and how long the bike will be in storage.

The temps. made it to 34 degrees here in Wisconsin today. The roads were clear, so I went for a 45 minute ride. Its as good as it gets for now. I pulled back into the garage, and rolled the bike on its carpet strips. The next ride could be a week or next spring
