I'm looking to do chrome upper and lower belt guards and a sprocket cover this winter. I priced out the Harley parts and it totals well over $200 for all three. I found V-Twin Manufacturing on E-Bay (sold by Sorgys) that has all three, plus chrome hardware for about $115. I was just wondering if any of you have experience with VTM chrome parts and how they compare to the HD chrome, which from my experience seems to be pretty damn good. I would like to save the money and get the VTM parts so I can spend money on other mods I want to do (i.e. SE Heavy Breather and SideShots)
i bought some replacement parts through them from my dealer, cost less and didnt notice a difference. mainly small stuff like covers and plates, some brackets.
I bought that kit from Sorgys
It looked good but i never put it on,saved it for mommas bike.
Mine has a Nightster upper guard i had plated, removed the lower, and i hit the sprocket with rubbing compound everytime i wash the bike.
