I've been doing something similar. I'm gonna get a couch too, but not til the other toys are paid for.
OFG, those 250's are nice little bikes for putting around and they got real good low end if you find a nice powerline you want to explore! LOL

I've got the H-D Global Battery Charger and just hook that up to the Battery Charging Harness (I've got the end sticking out near the seat). Takes all of 5 seconds to hook up/disconnect the float charger on the Nightster. It's stupid simple. I love it. Pop it off and ride. No fuss.
