Need help w/ 2001 1200C
I am completely new to this forum and I have just bought my first HD. It's an 01' Sportster 1200C. It only had 1670 miles on it and it is decked out in chrome and also has drag bars. I need more sound and performance. I am thinking of getting a jetkit, Screaming Eagle intake and some new exhaust. I am having trouble finding exhaust for it though. Seems like everyone just makes exhaust for 2004's and later. What suggestions do you guys have for me? I love the Bassani Sweepers, but you have to take your right passenger footpeg off. Help.

There's tons of options out there for '03 and older. 
Heck, I did a yahoo search for "2001 sportster exhaust" and got several pages returned with slip-ons and full exhaust systems. I even found a new company that I never heard of Exotic Choppers that sell some insane full systems.

I have found quite a bit more for it now. Though mine is a custom and a lot of systems say "fits all models except 1200C". I'm guessing it's because of the forward controls, but mine doesn't have forward controls, it's got mids. I'm guessing the forward controls were an option and the person who bought mine brand new got the mids on it instead.

.....Mine had mids & I put forwards on from a custom before I did the exhaust, and didn't have any issue with exhaust clearances.
