Welcome to HDF. Looks like from the tiny pic that you have a 1200 Custom. I'm not sure how you could not know what you purchased since its on the registration.

The bike in the profile has mids not forwards so I would say not likely a custom. Your title should say XLC for custom, XLCR or XLCL. At least mine does but it is a 96 XLC.

look on the frame, front left downtube nearest the oil filter....some where in that writingon the sticker it will have the model printed....ie..mine says XL1200C "c" denotes a custom model. also post up some bigger pics when you can.

looking at your profile pic-----> i can see two tone paint scheme that was limited to customs and a pullback riser similar to a custom and the head lamp sits low like a custom as for the foot controls anyone and many swap them out for oneselfs own comfort.

my bad eyes are telling me it's a custom.

the paint on his tank and front fender looks the same as this

Congrats, welcome and thanks for your service.

No tach or duel brake discs= no roadster. Without access to paperwork or larger picture it's hard to tell the dif between custom or low. I too would guess it's a custom.
