Replace the brass upper and lower bushings...also install the new spring where the hooks are angled to pull more upwards in the off center position. This will keep your stand held up as like new.

Be mindful of speed bumps and tall curbs, plus don't be stupid when loading scoot in truck or trailer.

My riding bud damaged his sporty jiffy stand while attempting to load it on his horse trailer with too short a ramp. The scoot bottomed at the ramp apex when the stand got hung and then fell over to the right while he was standing on the left....It was an ugly sight-him holding the bars and falling over on the bike as it throttled up and dug into his pants and leg....The impact stretched his spring to where it would hang and scrape the pavement when almost level and his right leg got eat up by the tire when it sucked it into the rear fender/tire mouth at full throttle.

He picked up his scoot and called me......I tossed him a rag for his leg and scoped out the scoot.

While replacing his spring I noted both upper and lower bushings were paper thin so I replaced the spring and bushings...now his stand clicks up tight and stays there.
