She's Done!
Just came home from the dealer. Medusa is finished. She looks and sounds like nobodies business. Mechanic ran her hard today for about 20 miles, let her sit to check for leaks, and was taking her out again when I left. If all goes well they will clean her up and I can bring her home tomorrow. The RSD Cleaner, and Black push rod tubes are friggin awesome. totally changed her look. Will post some pics tomorrow

Where can you get blacked out push rod tubes? How hard are they to install? I have been looking to black out my upper and lower rocker box covers, but that still leaves me with gleaming chrome (yuk

Well the push rod tubes were a joke, I figured I would have the mechanic install them while they were re-building the engine, turns out the only problem they had were the tubes!! Leaked like a son of a bitch everywhere. Turns out that the powder coating is to thick, and not letting the tubes seal. So now they gotta go ahead and break her down again and put my stock tubes back on. A $40.00 dollar part is now gonna coat me $400.00 in parts and labor! Mechanic quoted me 4 hrs @ $78.00hr plus gaskets. Sometimes I feel like I just can't win with this bike. I contacted the seller, but seriously? What's he gonna do give me my $40.00 back?
