Well here it is, what we have been waiting for all winter. Riding season! This morning I was at work bright and early, being a good boy. I loaded some heavy blocks and right after I noticed a burning in the groin. You guessed it, a hernia. Spent the rest of the day in the er. I am ok but off work till I see the surgeon, then he will put me off till the surgery and another 3 weeks after that. BUT on the bright side, I can ride till then! so you guys will be seeing more of my smiling face!
Well that really sucks about that! I have had one of those and let me tell you it was not fun. Good luck with your recovery and watch out for the Babes in the skimpy pink tops. That could be very difficult!
I feel you Midnight. I just had hernia surgery last Tuesday. I hate to tell you but it sucks. A week after surgery, still feels like I got kicked in the gonads by a mule!!!!!!!! I got my Nightster a month ago and now I can't ride for atleast 3 to 4 weeks.
thanks guys, yeh I put in a comp claim. and everything will be ok but I know after the surgery I wont be able yo ride for a while. but for now... Ride on!
midnight, you need to take care of yourself(and lose that beer belly too)
Look, let's be honest here....you didn't blow a gut lifting heavy blocks, you did it riding that hard-on inducing Nightster of yours. You built more bike than your out of shape nads were capable of....You failed to work up to it slowly and hurt yourself in the process. Same thing happened to me when I married my 2nd wife. She was a stripper and half my age.
