i guess that just depends on how low you want to go. me, i like to sit up a bit more. I have the stock "drag" bars on my 1200c, but i'm in the market for some mini apes.

I used a 29 inch bar with 5 inches of pull back. I was not too happy with how wide they were so they got shortened an inch and a half on each side! I think it drag bars on that bike are bitchen!

I have the HD Drab Bars out of the catalog. Had them powdercoated and installed with 6" risers. I LOVE the look and the riding position they provide. Plus, I never have to worry about bars hitting the tank or anything.

Here is a pic or two.

i gots 27in drags with a 4 in pull back. go with a wide center so the switch housings dont hit the tank. the bars are on stock risers, i think they look better that way IMO.

^^^thats awesome,

1. How did you get the mirrors upside down?

2.Did the 27" bars have any set backs? Was 4" wide enough?

Thanks,

Alex

Just unbolt them, put the right one upside-down on the left side and the left one on the right side.

the pull back was 4in. i cant remember how wide the center was tho. the wider the better. there isnt any setbacks on the bars, they are amazing hands down. you get so much control of the bike with drag bars.
