Im still on my first tank of gas, but Ive opened it a couple times to check on the level.

I read something about push and turn, but as far as I can tell there is no push to be had.
I tried prying it up with a key a little, dont want to scratch anything, some how it eventually came off.
If you are having problems after riding for a bit, you might be having problems with it not venting. You need to have t checked out, A friend of mine just bought an aftermarket from the stealer and it was defective and the lack of gas when it cooled down at night caved in the whole top of his tank. Make sure it is venting good
