I went to the preview launch of the new Triumph Thunderbird at my local dealer this week. I was quite impressed with the look of the bike. Priced at $12,000 and with a 1600 engine, its aimed at the large cruiser market. I can see it doing very well against most of the Japanese cruisers, but will it take any market share away from HD?
i'd rock one in a second, the bike is so nice. trumps are terrific bikes and someday i will own one....i plan on getting another bike to (keeping the sporty) have thought about getting something from triumph, might be the thunderbird. the bike is getting terrific reviews from the mags.
Eh, they need to stick with the modern classic style... I think this bike looks like a japanese bike. Their modern classics, like the bonnies and scramblers are awesome.
I like the digital fuel tank guage as part of the speedo. HD should of done the samething. Now as far as sound, its never ever gonna have that HD sound.
