Inside the baffles is a flap. If I push in on this and open it up more will it make them louder or no change?

More open maybe a bit louder. More open, less backpressure. Possibly loss of lower and midrange grunt. Not worth it to me.

If you get rid of that flap, you might as well pull them out. I know a couple of guys who pulled them out and deilled the holes out but left the flap intact. If you lose that flap you'll lose your back pressure like the other guy said. If you lose your back pressure you'll lose your torque. At least thats always what I've been told. But I know you can drill the hole out and it will be louder.

Is that a fixed flap from the company when they were new? I don't want to cut the flap just maybe bend it back but don't want to cause any problems either. There was no popping sound when I put these on so I didn't have to have it set up. Can't tell what size baffle is in there. Would it be easier just to replace the baffle? There is no bolt there but I do see a hole where there was on.

I know I say one hole in each. Not sure if the other one is there. Also the bolts are missing so I'm sure there in there pretty good. Looking at it further it doesn't look like a flap it looks like it's sorta cone shaped .Don't know if it can be bent. Might be fixed like that from the factory. Can't tell either what size baffle is in there. Is there a way to check?
