I am waiting for my gimps to come in. Does anyone know what length of cables I will need to put these on. The current bars are stock and the new ones are 16 inch gimps.
i got a 883c with 12.5" apes and stock hugger risers... didnt look good with my factory risers... i had to run 10" over stock on all my cables. i put my bars on when i had my factory pull back style risers, which i believe are about 4". total length there 16.5". i had ordered 6" over stock and holy crap waaaaay to short.
the stock harley extended cables (black diamonds) may get it done but you're stretchin' it (no pun intended). 16" is big, hopefully you've ridden with ape hangers before, a lot more gnarly factor involved.
