Just finished installing my V&H straight shots. Been waiting along time to be able to get these babies. And now that the pipes are on, and the engine has been started I must repeat what others have said....HOLY S**T!! Was NOT prepared for the sound. I was completely blown away. Dont think I've smiled this hard and for this long since my wedding night...
They do really bring the bike alive! The QB's helped define the sound a little better for me. Took me a few days to make that decision. Not too hard to change them out though. Congrats on the new pipes!
Hope you're still smilling when you get an excessive noise ticket
To be honest that is a concern I have. However my bike is nowhere near as loud as most of the bikes around here. It may just be that I've been riding on it for a year now and anything other than stock is going to sound crazy loud to me.
Tumbleweed I know how you feel. When I had the dealer put my pipes on, The shop was under the showroom, I heard them start my bike and it shook the floor! What a feeling that was to hear for the first time.
i couldnt stop smiling either when i saw the pipes and ac put on. but when i started it, my face hurt frm smiling so much. best buy for the bike so far. still love the sound and look to this day.
