So after reading up I decided that I was up for polishing my lowers and changing the oil for the first time. I also had asperations to polish the turn signal housing's but, after mild heat stroke I think I'll do that later!
I think it turned out pretty good.
Before:
Closer, shows all the pitting or whatever it is:
After, I also left the front fender and tool bag off for the time being.
I also "slightly" polished up the front rotor while I had it off.
The oil change was even easier than I thought it would be. I couldn't find the Mobil1 at Wal-mart so I ended up using Mobil1 synthetic for MC's. It was about $8 a qt. Let me know what ya think.
Looks good and what kind of pipe do you have. Your sig says SE's, but I know that is not what's on the bike-they look good.
Sorry, been meaning to change that... they are Hooker Troublemakers. I don't think you can get them anymore and I wouldn't reccomend them. I've enjoyed them but, I think I heard the start of the "rattle" everyone told me about and they are only about 2-3months old.
Looks good: Just wondering how much support the front fender provides and would it be best for him to add a lower support?
I thought I understood in papadop88's thread that unless it's a true fork brace that it doesn't do much... So I was assumin' that I don't need anything at all.
If I'm INCORRECT please let me know... I don't want to eat pavement or ruin sometjing just cause I think it looks cool!

I've been constantly tryin' to change it up and make it mine... I still want to get the chopped rear fender I have painted and on there and, get rid of the tail light. If that damn wife of mine would go get a job!
