Well I hate to admit it, especially out here in the open, but I have a problem, as I am somewhat of a Chromophobe! Yeah, I know, not very PC of me but I cant help it. Those damn CHROMOS are EVEYWHERE!!! I see them up at the Rock Store. I see them up at Cooks corner. I see them up at Mother's Kitchen. I have even seen a few of them up at Newcombs Ranch and up at Ricks Roadside Café too! Damn! Youd think that I guy could go off for a nice ride and relax and enjoy himself, but NOOOOOO! Along comes some shiny, reflective, blind you with the sunlight coming off of their all polished up CHROMOCYCLE accessory laden Chromomobiles to ruin the day for you. I can barely see anymore what with all of the glare going on around me. I have tried to put up with them. I really have! I have even tried using Polarized sunglasses for goodness sakes, but to no avail. Come on people! Lets get somemore Nightsters and somemore Irons out there. You know, Black can be beautiful too! Give it a try. You never know. You just might like it after all. You have heard it before, once you go Black, you never go back! Sorry for the rant just had to get it off my chest. Damn CHROMOS!
Get new sun glasses, we are not going away.(HEE HEE) When I was in the navy I was in some ports that all that was avilable was black. But you know the old saying "once bright, you know it's right". I still like those three chicks hanging on your bike. (lucky a$$) Ride safe.
my bike is chromed to high heaven (imo), not by choice, its just the way it came. I havent the time nor $ to start pwdr coat'n stuff. And Im not rattle canning anymore... well, cept for my wheels...
I actually prefer the brushed or bead-blasted look better than shiny chrome. To accomplish and maintain this appearance, I typically leave a layer of dirt and road grime on the shiny parts. I have got to get off my lazy azz and wash it!
