I just bought some Goo Be Gone gel this weekend at Walmart. It was in the regular cleaning section.

Thanks to everyone for all the information. My last shot will be the "goo-gone" thing.
If no luck, I'm going "black"!!!

I use a product called "De-Solve It" its an orange based cleaner that I purchased at Ace Hardware. This stuff works on all kinds of stains and is about 7 bucks a spray bottle.

Default Same Stains

I have the same problem with my Nightster. Seemed to be an oil stain, so I put WD-40 on it and went to town with the toothbrush, but now it is spread across the bike in a large line, and absolutely won't come off. I've also tried Simple Green and Magic Eraser. Did you ever find something that worked?

If you are hell bent on removing the stain & have access to a power shower mix up a solution....remove the cover of the bike and goto town on it...if that doesnt work...atleast the cover is off to paint it black

So did the Goo Be Gone work?

Mine is stained too. I haven't had much luck cleaning it. I have a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser that I'll try but if that doesn't work, I'll buy GBG if it worked for you!
