Nice pix of the seat actually installed. Looks better than I thought it would.
My question has to do with comfort compared to the stock seat. In particular, when I hit large potholes, the factory shocks/seat seem to bottom out. It delivers a significant body blow. At times I think all my teeth must have shattered.
How much travel does the spring allow? My thought is that the spring would give me an inch or two of additional travel before bottoming out. Is this a valid assumption? Does it tame the big potholes (at least to a degree)?

I will be lifting the tank, trying to tuck wires and relocation the coil/ignition this weekend. Ontop of removing upper/lower belt guards and the front pulley cover. I really like the minimalist (spelling?) look to a bike and i feel this is the perfect candidate for exactly that.
