Germ, Those apes are HUGE, hows it sit? I feel my hands would be up over my head with bars that big and im 6'. Looks good none the less
I guess i could play along
Vance and hines Straight shots and tan exhaust wrap.
I will be lifting the tank, trying to tuck wires and relocation the coil/ignition this weekend. Ontop of removing upper/lower belt guards and the front pulley cover. I really like the minimalist (spelling?) look to a bike and i feel this is the perfect candidate for exactly that.
Do you guys get "is that a sportster?" question alot? Everytime im out on it and stopping for gas im approached by someone asking/talking about the bike

Hey man......I am 6 foot myself......It sits great....the bars come to about eye level on me.........They just look taller than they really are I think.......
I have a lot of changes going on right now--new paint job, new pipes, speedo relocation, new air filter, stage 1 with a SERT, new rear signals, The bars and the spring solo seat I did last month. In about a month or so I am going to start on the engine--add some cams, see how the heads look-maybe have them polished, See how that goes and I will also be cahnging out the bars. I love the look of the drag bars but I'm an ex hockey guy and my back just can't take it--I get a jarring pain right between my shoulder blades so I need some kind of ape or mini ape.
