C'mon, get over the small tank hang up. It's a city, light to light "bar hopper", not a touring bike... I personally love the looks of the bike, hell, I might just have to go get one and give the wife my Nightster.
Well if you use the bike to commute everywhere, the miles will add up and you'll be making a lot of stops, like I do. I only get about ~45 with my 883, I don't know how you get 60+
For one thing, I don't ride heavy on the throttle. And I spend most of my riding at 55-60 mph.
Since I've been riding for 2 years with a tank that size, I know from experience that the people saying it's too small are full of it. The tank looks cool.
Big tanks are a waste. 6 gallons? What for? Waste of space.
I dunno. Still think that it looks unbalanced. More tractor like then motorcycle. Or more like one those Eastern-block Urals. Or better yet, one of those two-wheel drive beasts that were made in the Eastern-block for a while.
I definitely dig the bike. Got to ride it today a bit since my Nightster is getting a new headlight mounted. I still think I like my Nightster better, but I love the fact that my girl bought this so we can ride together (and that I get to ride it every now and then as well)
