Took my bike, 2009 Iron, for longer ride tonight. At first I thought it pinged on decel, but noticed the hotter it got the more it pinged. Any suggestions? Uses 90 octane, thats all they sell here, use HD additive to compensate.
Mine does it too when I sit in traffic for extended periods of time. It should stop once you get some air moving over the heads. Switching to Synthetic Oil helps too.
