Hey;
i'm back with another question. I know Sportsters have noisy engines, but mine has become even noiser recently. i have an 06 1200c with about 28000 miles on it. I bought it 2 years ago with 4000 miles. i change the oil every 3500- 4000 miles and use Mobil one 15/50. The rattles from the engine have become louder and more numerous recently. Is this just from an engine with 2800 miles as opposed to 4000 miles on it or should I head for a mechanic? It is not a specific noise like a knock just more rattles. They are a lot more noticable when the engine is under load. at idle or reving it in neutral they are not as bad.
Thanks for your input.
