Rake the forty-eight?

Rake the forty-eight?
So I just bought a 48 not to long ago and have been wanting to change the stock handlebars to a drag bar set up. The only thing is I dont want to be slouched over like I would be if I put them in the stock clamps. So the only route would be to change the triple tree, correct me if I'm wrong I'm open to suggestions. So in the hunt for triple trees I came across raked ones, either 3,5, or 7 degree rakes, in my opinion I think would look BA, Anyone out there done it? What are your opinions?

do you ride with forward or mid controls? I say you first install the drag bars and try them for a while... the usual initial concern about drag bars is them being too uncomfortable because of the riding position.. but once you get used to it you will love them.... I am not sure a 48 will look good with a raked front with such a wide front tire... remember that changing the triple trees with a rake other that stock changes the handling characteristics... but I am sure we can also get used to it.. :-)

I ride with what Harley says are forward controls, to me they seem in the mid range compared to 2010 wide glide with forward controls, but I was thinking about mounting them and testing them out since I could always go back to original, change the triple or even if I liked it keep it like that, thanks for the input!

It wouldn't be a drastic rake, only a few degrees which would increase the wheelbase a little for i think it's a little to jammed and narrow, I mean I love my 48 the way it is I just really prefer the short chop style bikes
