how long have you had this setup? Looks really sweet-the website mentions that the clock part draws constant power,sure it can't be much but have you had any issues with that?
No power problems yet...Will be on a trickle charger all winter and I start my bikes once a week during my hibernation periods. If it does draw power it can't be much.
The opening is the same....3 3/8 and it should be a direct plug in. Remove the two allen screws on the bottom plate - pull the plastic outer piece down and push the old speedo up and disconnect the plug, remove the rubber gasket, pull out - replace with new dakota digital in reverse order reusing the rubber gasket.
