These are the new screamin eagle slip ons that came out this year.
The are not the SEII's they changed the name to street performance.
The dealer told me little change in sound.
Anyone have them?
I got the Original Se's on my '05 883, they sound better with every mile I ride, not to loud but deffinantley the HD sound. Chrome is holding up very well too.
I asked my dealer about them. He said "dont waste your time" . He bought V&H for his personal bike after hearing them. They are street legal and very quite. SEII's are much better. I guess the performace is about the same.

Are you saying that the new Street Performance mufflers add performance similar to the SEIIs without increasing sound levels much? This may be what I am looking for; increased performance with a very minimal sound level increase. I want a little more sound but because I use my bike to commute to work, I don't want to wake the neighborhood at 6:30 in the AM. Does anyone have them yet?
That is correct. Check out the harley website. They say they perform as well as the SEII (off road use only mufflers). Any pipe that is street legal means it is 80db or lower when wide open. These may be a little louder then stock, but not much louder. The price I saw on these slip ons was $309 (seems kind of expensive).
