All, Here is the link for the brackets I purchased from HD. the part number is 90799-94C and the cost is 87.00. According to the picture in the below link you should not have to relocat your turn signals.
Sorry one of my first post is to correct some errors but here goes. If you use the Harley saddle bag supports part number 90799-94C you do not have to relocate the turn signals to mount the brackets (see pictures). This does not mean you will not have an interference with the bags and the turn signals if the bags are to big but if the bags fit then the turn signals can stay where they are. The Harley kit is the same supports used on earlier Sportsters with an additional parts kit included to mount them on the '04 ups. Hope this answers some of your questions.
