I see what you mean, but as long as they are not dangerous in the turns, I don't mind changing.

Looking at it, the Avons will probably be the way I go, especially that they are available locally and the Weight index is pretty close (69vs71) I'm just not sure if I'm gonna like the look of the "thinner" tire at the back 130vs150 but the tread definitely will go with what I've done so far.

that's odd because their blog states that they are cokers http://blog.roughcrafts.com/archives/501

I checked out the Coker website and I think it's probably these which are actually Beck by Coker, very similar to the Avon's

Either way mean looking tires!

been following this thread,
like the look of the coker/avon tyres myself for a project,
another spanner in the works for the 48, due to the extra dia of the tyre, you may have clearance issues with the fork brace as well as the fender.

Here's what I've got so far, These are tires that I think will fit (I say think because of what Mreed said about not all tire sizes being equal) I know there are other tires out there, including some that were mentioned in this thread, but I like the patterns on these, and will probably end up going with one of these. These pretty much meet all the "legal requirements" in weight index and speed ratings. You'll notice there are not "vintage" tires in this list, and again it is not exhaustive.
