thanks SF.......i do too.

Yea, thats for sure. But I feel safer at (well I wont say)MPH down the highway than I do tearing up the twisties with it. It is crazy powerful to say the least. Me in my 50's now and at 210, it would be a ugly sight on the track. lol But I have a friend of a friend ready to give me what I have in it.

Needless to say the wife is overjoyed. LOL.

well tell her to get her own then or get her own hobby! that's what i did, then she took up brazilian jiu-jitsu and can kick me in the head from across the room now, trust me i know. seriously, ever think about getting another bike for two ups, maybe a used street glide or road king. then you can chop away! thanks for the compliments.

bmx, looks great. question on the rear fender and ecm...is it possible to take the fender and roll it forward (into the bike) after removing the plastic piece? i guess what im wondering is if you roll it forward and keep the ecm hole in the fender, is it possible to keep the ecm mounted to the fender, but further down if that makes sence. im thinking the plastic piece is about 6 inches, once removed and fender just rotated to where the plastic piece was. or, has this not been done because the wiring to the ecm wont reach? just wondering what your thoughts are or anybody else if youve done/attempted to do the ecm relocate and fender trim like this......tks

first off thanks scooter. i did in fact roll the fender forward and cut at the flat part of ecm hole (thanks to mreed). my main objective was to get it off of the fender all together so that just wasn't an option for me. i really wanted to clean all that up and now that the solo seat will show more of the rear fender i certainly didn't want to see it. not sure that's been done. i've seen guys (as recently as yesterday) on the forums who chopped the rear and kept the stock seat (ew...don't know why but they did) so i'd imagine it could be done if your plans are to keep the stock seat. when i chopped it and rolled it forward the fender mount holes lined up so perfect, i thought no way could this be that easy but it was. hardest part was getting all the wiring rerouted for the ecm, pcIII and the giant plug that tethers them together. there are pics of the wiring setup somewhere in my thread if you'd like to have a closer look. so far, about 3k miles on the bike since the chop and nothing has even budged.
